"From out of the clear blue of the western sky comes Sky King" was the familiar opening to television's premier aviation program. Operating from his Flying Crown Ranch in Arizona, Sky King, his niece Penny and their Cessna 310 airplane "Songbird" were constantly involved in one adventure after another. Viewed by many children in the 1950's, this program was responsible for inspiring many later aviation careers.  

Set at a small liberal-arts college in Manhattan, The Bedford Diaries is an ensemble drama about the lives of resident and commuter students from all kinds of social and economic backgrounds and their teachers. The show specifically centers on a human behavior seminar where (the students) openly talk about their sexual lives or the lack of sexual lives and come to understand themselves and the world they live in better.

This comedy series stands halfway between the average sitcom and Tarantinoesque production. It focuses on Curtis, a weird couch potato who never leaves his home and watches the Rex Reilly Show (Geraldo on acid) all day long. Also of importance are his room-mates Hope and Nathan and Lucky the cat. To some extent, the show might be considered a wild satire of Generation-X life in Toronto.
