Watching x265 small size videos

Hello,
some of you asking me how to watch x265 small size episodes.
Answer is so simple, just use latest version of VLC player (it's free app), or install x265 codec and watch it on PC.
If you want to watch it on TV, just connect your PC to TV (with HDMI cable for example), and move VLC to TV display and watch it there.
You don't have to buy new UHD TV just to watch x265 videos.
Thanks to x265 codec now you have to download only 250MB - 300MB file in compare with 1GB file encoded with old x264 codec for 720p quality.

An alternative is a small conversion tool:
H.265 to H.264 Converter
available at Sourceforge and other places.

I converted from h265 a few years ago because I had no player that would read that.
I've since gotten a 4K player that works fine.

Why would you do that? It'll give you no increase in picture quality at all, but a massive increase in file size.
Surely you'd only do that if you were a masochist?
x265 is the way to go. Both VLC and Kodi natively support it which means it can be used with any PC, Mac or Android based TV.
